THE FIFTH ESTATE is a historical drama about the creation and controversy surrounding the Internet website WikiLeaks and its founder. WikiLeaks and its founder, Julian Assange, came under fire in 2010 for exposing thousands of classified American documents and State Department cables. THE FIFTH ESTATE Movie Review Review Movie about 6 years ago by Joey Paur. Like many of you, I'm a huge fan of Benedict Cumberbatch. The guy is just an incredible actor, and he's one of the main reasons I was excited to see the WikiLeaks movie The Fifth Estate. I'm happy to say that he absolutely crushed the role of Julian Assange. He was hands down the best part of the movie, and without him The first estate is the clergy, the second estate is the nobility, the third estate are the commoners, the fourth estate is the press and the fifth estate is a group within a society that operates

Movie Review of the THE FIFTH ESTATE starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Daniel Bruhl, Alicia Vikander, Anthony Mackie, Peter Capaldi, David Thewlis, Laura Linney, Stanley Tucci, Carice Van Houten THE FIFTH ESTATE is a historical drama about the creation and controversy surrounding the Internet website WikiLeaks and its founder. WikiLeaks and its founder, Julian Assange, came under fire in 2010 for exposing thousands of classified American documents and State Department cables.
Going into The Fifth Estate, I anticipated the Julian Assange version of the recent Jobs, which was a nice-looking but mostly soulless regurgitation of the high points from the Apple founder’s life.
